On October 18, 2026, the Small Hall of the State Kremlin Palace will host a performance of the semi‑staged show «Notre‑Dame de Paris» as part of the «OPERA XXI» project.
«Notre‑Dame de Paris», a masterpiece by Riccardo Cocciante and Luc Plamondon, was created based on Victor Hugo’s novel «The Hunchback of Notre‑Dame».
The performance entered the Guinness Book of Records for the number of tickets sold, and the legendary «Belle» was recognized as the best song of the 20th century in France.
«Notre-Dame de Paris» is one of the most famous stories of love and passion between the young gypsy Esmeralda and the loyal Quasimodo.
«OPERA XXI» presents a version in which soloists from Moscow’s opera houses take part.
The musical accompaniment includes the rock band «Symphony,» which adds depth and emotion to the performance, and in combination with opera singers creates a unique sound for the musical piece.
The program will feature legendary hits connected by a consistent storyline. The lyrics are translated into Russian, and the main characters will be presented in historical costumes.
