On May 4, 2025, as part of the «Theatre in Cinema» project, the film premiere of Konstantin Khabensky and Alexander Tsypkin’s play «He Lived. He Was. He Had a Home.» took place in cinemas in more than 100 cities across Russia. This was a unique case — the audience saw the play in cinemas for the first time before its official premiere on the theatre stage.
The premiere on the Main Stage of the A. P. Chekhov Moscow Art Theatre took place on May 15 and 16.

«He Lived. He Was. The House.» is a collection of nine stories united by a common ending. The stories are funny and sad, and they’re relatable to anyone, because everyone in this life has faced a choice: to believe or not to believe in love, in friendship, in fate, in happiness, in God.
The play features 19 characters: 13 people, 2 rats, 2 parrots, a cat, and a dog — all of them live in the same house.
