We spent six months analyzing this text with the actors, studying it very carefully. With such immersion, all the symbolism of *Three Sisters* fades away, and a very detailed, subtle, and absolutely well‑founded psychological structure emerges. That is precisely what interests me in the play.» This reality of the people in a military provincial town is interesting, and it is connected with very vivid, concrete, situational human manifestations: love, emotions, relationships. I hope that our production will not contain any symbolism, no abstraction, no philosophical musings. It will be an extremely concrete, extremely everyday piece, and, first and foremost, an emotionally everyday work about living, ordinary people."
